2017 TLX FEATURES
The 2017 Acura TLX is available with two engine options. The 2.4-liter inline-four uses Intelligent Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control to generate 206 horsepower through an eight-speed Automatic Transmission netting 35 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city*. Using the same technologies but with a nine-speed Automatic Transmission, the 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 gets 34 highway mpg and 21 city mpg*. With the automatic transmission and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, the 290-hp V6 achieves 31 highway mpg and 21 city mpg*. The Integrated Dynamics System lets you maximize every trip by choosing such driving modes as Normal, Econ, Sport and Sport+.
INTERIOR
Adjust the driver's seat in 10 ways, including power-lumbar support, and the front passenger seat in up to eight ways on the V6 trims. This row contains three levels of heating with three levels of ventilation available through the Advance Package. Store the driver settings plus positions for the steering wheel and side mirrors in the two-driver automatic memory system. In the rear, the seat backs fold in a 60/40-split to accommodate cargo that is too large for the trunk alone to hold. A center armrest also folds down to act as a stand for tablets or provide cup holders. Dual-zone automatic climate control features humidity control and air filtration and allows the driver and front passenger to have separate comfort levels.
FEATURES
Controls mounted on the steering wheel keep your hands on the wheel as you adjust radio volume, cruise control, and Bluetooth HandsFreeLink. On the V6 models, the electronic gear selector manages the nine-speed transmission through the use of push buttons to select Drive, Neutral and Park, and pull-levers for Reverse and the Parking Brake. This arrangement opens up the space between driver and front-passengers to allow for low-mounted controls and cup holders. The Acura Premium Audio System features seven speakers and compatibility with Pandora and Aha. The USB audio interface with iPod integration and the MP3/auxiliary input jack allows for wired connections to personal devices. The available Acura Navigation System relies on hard drive data storage for fast response while displaying results on a high-resolution eight-inch screen.

Safety in the 2017 Acura TLX begins with the Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure that optimizes occupant protection during frontal crashes. It incorporates connected structural elements and extra braces at the front corners to help distribute impact forces from the passenger compartment to the rest of the car body. The Lane Keeping Assist System gently guides you back to the center of your lane if the vehicle inadvertently drifts from it. You gain a second pair of eyes during lane changes with the Blind Spot Information System, which signals you if a car enters the lane you want to change to.
